This literature review aims to evaluate each intervention service provided by the NDIS for children with disabilities. It will be used to create further guidelines that will assist health practitioners in appropriately allocating patients prior to their initial consultations.
Most of the required information is already available; however, we need to include a few additional articles to support the argument. Additionally, restructuring and incorporating information from the supporting document into the literature review is necessary. This includes details on support coordination, its structure, how the referral process works, and budget allocation. We also need to gather more information on key workers and therapy assistants (TA).
Currently, the literature review presents these as two distinct services, with the implication that children will be allocated to only one of them. However, children can access both services simultaneously. A key worker is a specialist responsible for coordinating other services, and they can also allocate the child to TA services. Therefore, this clarification needs to be included in the literature review.
Please refer to the working document I provided for further clarification.
