Identity Development Evolution
Describe how the aspect of identity development that you selected tends to change over the course of a young person’s adolescent years. Refer to one of the theoretical frameworks to support your claims.
Select a stage of development within your selected theoretical framework and evaluate how this stage aligns with your own experiences as an adolescent. To what degree does the framework stage adequately describe your experience?
Environmental Impact
Explain how an adolescent’s environment could impact this aspect of identity development. Be sure to address geographic location, political climate, and culture in your response.
Explain how your environment may have impacted your identity development. In your reflection consider how your experiences may have compared with teenage peers whose identities differed from yours.
