Rubric
You are required to watch a video and hand in a 2-3 page report (excluding the title page, but including the references) within 7 Calendar days of posting.  Each report should bear a  title that reflects i.e. relevant to the topic. These reports will assist you in your preparation towards the exam. The report must be written in Times New Roman font, bear the student’s name, are relevant and informative report title, date, 2.0 line spacing, all page margins 1’’ (do not reduce page margins to mask verbosity!); a copy must be posted via Turn it in on CANVAS for plagiarism checking, and should comprise the following two parts (failure to follow this format may cost you points):.
Part I, Summary: Each student takes notes while listening to the video, covering the basic content of the topic discussed. The summary should be written in complete, coherent sentences (NOT bullet points) and it should be no more than 100 words. (5 pts off if more than 100 words long; and it should not cross over to the next page)
Part II, Effect: Each student must include a 1-2 page “impact” paper. What did you think of the topic? What did you learn? What questions do you have as a student? Suggestions? etc. If you were the presenter or professor, what questions would you ask the audience from the material you presented and what would the answers be? (Think about the information presented, and what type of questions would come to your mind which you think, if you were the presenter, would be interesting/useful to ask your audience? Since you are the now assuming the role of the presenter and asking the questions, you should include in your report sample/possible expected answers to your questions. The report should be succinct. Students may do additional research to beef it up as need be.
Part III, References: All sources used must be sited, see format below.
Video report due dates are indicated at the footnote/end of the course schedule. 10 points may be lost per day after the due date. Reports may not be accepted 3 days after the due date. Points are also lost if format is not followed; maximum of 10 points loss (this may also include not putting name, date and title). NOTE: In all cases 10 points is lost if student did not submit an electronic copy on CANVAS via safe-assign.
Plagiarism from 25% may  be flagged and penalized, people who have 100% plagiarism may get 0% even if their easy/report is great
