(I first worked with CRNA’s during my travel contract to New York during covid pandemic where I truly got to respect the profession which inspired me to be a CRNA. I have included link to the school program and also attached a section where they talk about building a new program which I think will fit well with this question.” Rather than hampered by legacy programs, Sareerak says developing a new program from the ground up offers unique opportunities for both faculty and students. (Hight acuity patients which include intubated, Septic patients, post code, ARDS, Neurosurgical patients, DKA, cardiac patients. All vasoactive medications and the use of arterial lines and Cheetah NICOM to monitor advanced hemodynamics)
3)Outline any leadership roles you have held at work or in the community. How have these experiences prepared you for a leadership role in nurse anesthesia?
( I am a relief charge nurse, I precept new grad students and oncoming travelers and staff nurses, I volunteered on a medical mission trip to costa rica to provide healthcare, I speak at my nursing school to discuss my experience as a new grad taking travel crisis contracts to covid impacted areas in NY and Texas, I am apart of safe patient handling committees to champion and establish safety measures and a Unit Based team member.)

5)Describe a significant challenge or adversity you have faced. How did you overcome this obstacle, and what did you learn from the experience about resilience?
(I graduated in Dec 2019 and received my license feb 2020. This was during the covid outbreak. There were no training programs and all hiring was shut down. I managed to secure a travel contract to NY the epicenter of the covid outbreak where I began taking care of highly acute patients without any training or orientation despite the fact that I was told by many that I was not ready for that level of care for a new grad. Working 84 hours a week. )
6)Given this program’s full-time, rigorous nature, describe the support systems you have established or plan to establish to manage your studies alongside other competing demands.
(great support system that consist of family, friends, girlfriend, my emotional support dog who all chipped in previously during my travels during covid. Financially I have saved up money and I am in the process of completing an ADU which will cover my mortage and provide significant financial relief)
