Based on your critiques and group discussions about the sample lesson plan “Penguins!”, please improve that lesson plan. You will find a link below to the lesson in a Google Doc. Please make a copy of this document, edit it and adjust it as needed, and then turn the document in either as a link to the document (be sure to check your sharing settings) or as a PDF. If you prefer to rewrite the lesson from scratch, that is fine, too.
I will be looking for improvements that deal with problems related to the Class Information, Objectives, Learning Activities, and Assessments. There are many ways you could work to align these components of the lesson, and many other additions you could make that would improve the lesson. Try to imagine actually teaching a lesson about Penguins, and think through what you would need from your lesson plan. Above all, try to bring a sense of quality to your lesson plan – will this lesson actually be good for children?
