For this paper, please, present an initial conceptualization of the case study (which is added to the attachment) using one of the counseling theories ( for example, Cognitive Behavioral ) Include a treatment plan that includes ways to help the client as well as considerations of any ethical issues that could arise when working with a client. 1. Counseling Theory: Describe the counseling theory that you will use to evaluate the client ( Cognitive Behavioral) and address: Why did you choose this theory? What is particularly appealing about this approach?
2. Presenting Issues: Determine the presenting issues for the client from the case study ( in the attachment), and address: What are the client’s self-identified areas of concern? What areas might be impacting the client’s daily life?
3. Treatment Goals: Describe the treatment goals for the client based on the presenting issue.
4. Action Plan: Create an action plan for treating the client, and address: What sort of interventions would be planned? What are you trying to accomplish with the interventions? What is the rational behind selecting your chosen interventions ?
5. APA Ethics Code: Identify the sections of the APA ethics code that are relevant to the case study, and address: How are the selected sections relevant to the case study? Are there sections that do not apply?
